Time flies

Can you believe it's almost February? One month can pass by so quickly ...it feels like New Year was just yesterday!

almost February

Thank you for all the good advice on how to keep my flowers fresh for a longer time. I went to the market today and bought roses and tulips...so see if it works.

fresh flowers for the weekend

I also brought home with me these lovely magazines. Some people buy snacks and unnessesary food when they go shopping on an empty stomach. Not me...I always buy food magazines. Drooling over the yummie pictures is enough satisfaction for me. Sadly for members of my household, I rarely prepare a recipe out any of these books!

new magazines

And how about this beautiful piece of art from Rob Ryan. It came as a little extra in the new flow magazine. I put it in a black frame, maybe a white was better...not completely sure.

Last photo is a peek preview of a gift i made this afternoon for a certain someone. More about that later....

a small peek

Have a wonderful weekend you'll!

I love magazines too! My problem is I like all of them (well most anyway) :D
The flowers are so pretty...I hope the tulips will last longer this time.

Fijn weekend!

You will have to let us know which ideas work on your flowers. I am curious. I am the same way with food magazines, buy them but rarely make a recipe.

Cory, You came to my blog too soon! I just posted my beautiful order that came from you! I love your birds, and I know I will have a flock before too long..... The pincushion was such a generous addition and greatly appreciated. As always, your work inspires me to be creative. Your words bring lightness to my heart. Thank you so very much! Elizabeth

Yes, January has flown by! Part of me is happy about that. I'm looking forward to Spring.

What a pretty sneak peek at the gift you've made. Can't wait for the full reveal.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well.

You won´t get fat by reading magazines :)

I like the peek of the little doll showing us the new picture frame. :-)
And yes.. that is the way it is here with the magazines.. lots of looking and not much cooking. The recipes always seem to call for ingredients that I would need to go back out and buy.

Oh.. I loved the Recess charm pack you showed the other day. yes.. that would make a sweet little quilt!

WOW! Ilove to see tulips! They mean to me that spring is coming. Wish one year come to Netherland to see all those lovely tulips growing there!!!
